Snowy Sunday!

Can't believe we got almost two feet of snow yesterday. We've been sledding, shoveling, and making snow angels.

Chilly Weekend in Kensington

It's our first weekend in the new house in Kensington. I snapped this picture yesterday when we took an early morning walk to the town center. About three blocks away there's a cute little train station and a farmers market every Saturday. We also found some cute stores, a flower shop, and a great bakery. Kensington's Antique Row is right around the corner, too. It feels a little like going back in time. We are settling in and getting a lot of unpacking done especially today since it's so cold and rainy.

Monkey Halloween

I know Halloween was a whole month ago, but I just got these pictures from my friend Sarah who was visiting that weekend, so anyway I thought I'd post them now...

Mazel tov to Anna's cousin Zach Tuchman on his bar mitzvah. He did a fantastic job, we are so proud of him.

We had a great time seeing family. Rachel was particularly attached to cousins Alex, Grace, and Zach by the end of the weekend.

Rachel's morning wakeup time of 4:30am got us to the ocean for a beautiful early morning walk.

And the trip gave us a chance to catch up with Rob's cousin Judy and Todd, as well as some old friends we've missed, Ian, Leeron and Shaul, Sarah, Mitch, Noah and Sonya, and Rachael and Polly. It was great seeing everyone, we had so much fun with you all.

Happy Fall!

Last weekend we visited our family in Philadelphia and I got to go apple picking with my cousins. We hung out in a pumpkin patch, too. It was a lot of fun....

Portland, Maine Trip

Here are a few pictures from our recent trip to Portland, ME for mommy and daddy's 4 year anniversary...

We visited the Portland Head Light, the oldest lighthouse in Maine.
They had a lot of rules about staying on the sidewalks, but give me a break, it's not like I can read.
Here I am swinging in the toddler swings with mommy's friend, Alison Barrington. I think she's having more fun than me!

And here we are enjoying a nice Sunday morning in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We walked all around town, and I even got to read the comics!

Pics from Spain (long overdue)

Rachel survived her first international trip to Spain! She had a great time -- loved the paella, flamenco dancing, and of course, everything about the beach (especially playing with her buddy Sadie and putting sand in her hair).

We had a great time with our friends the Donnelly's who made it a really special trip. Here are some of the highlights:

Jet-lagged babies getting a bedtime story from Rob...
Celebrating Susan's birthday by the pool at the villa and out in the town of Soller...
And of course, discovering a new beach every day. Rachel led the way...
We visited Miro's studio in Cala Major, Mallorca...Here are the girls waiting patiently for their churros...
The Port of Soller at sunset on our last day in Mallorca...
And then after a relaxing week, we were in Barcelona...where we toured the Picasso Museum, Parc Guell, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, and as much as we could cram into 4 days...

And then we spent a few hours in Madrid's El Retiro before returning home...

We're happy to be back and finally unpacked. Now we just need to get the pictures developed...

We spent this past weekend in Philly for Uncle Josh's birthday, Amelia's dance recital, and the big 40th Anniversary party. Here is Rachel getting lots of love from her cousins...
Our little dancing star...
Happy 40th Anniversary to Amma and Bopa! We love you...
And now we head to Spain this weekend for fun, sun, and paella! Here is the awesome paella we had recently with the Donnellys in anticipation of the trip. Be back July 4th Weekend...

Weekend in New England

This past weekend we traveled to Massachusetts for Anna's cousin's graduation from UMASS Boston. We saw Nana and Grandpa and lots of family and friends. Thanks to Marie and Cory Thurston and the Malletts for letting us stay with them. Here are a few pictures from the visit:
